Trade-off between manufacturing costs and inflation buffer over last two years of similar or same pricing among model series in lower priced and midgrade phones. Cuts down on electronic waste, as same charger *generally* works for successive year models. * Faster chipset models may need higher amp chargers if you upgrade from A15 to A54 or A55 when it arrives in March 2024, for example.
