  • QuestionIs the Unlocked Samsung A15 5g compatible on the T-Mobile Network (USA)?

    Asked by Delta40.

    • Answer I purchased mine from Samsung.com , but I can tell you that I use it on Verizon (Visible) and Tello (T-mobile) no issues. I'd assume "unlocked" here means the same thing as it does there.

    • Answer No. You can buy an unlocked Galaxy A34 or A54 phone that works with proprietary sim software but not the A15. I checked with them several months ago.

  • QuestionI need to know how many updates I will get with this phone, either OS or Security updates. Years? Months?

    Asked by Updates.

    • Answer According to Samsung (http://tinyurl.com/4n3ty6ew), "Included with up to 4 generations of OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates, your Galaxy A15 stays up-to-date for longer." with the following caveat: "The OS upgrade and security update policies specified above are subject to change."

  • QuestionHow many physical sim card slots available?

    Asked by Lnm.

    • Answer Unlike most recent dual SIM phones, some versions of the A15 accept two physical SIM cards and some do not. Dual SIM versions use the Micro SD spot on the back of the SIM card tray so it is not obvious from casual observation. The obvious question is will a dual SIM tray give single a SIM version of the A15 dual SIM capability or is the firmware different. I wish Samsung would answer this question definitively. Samsung is losing sales by not promoting the dual SIM variant.
