• Your best bet, is to contact Straight Talk and ask THEM 'why', because this phone IS universally unlocked, and works perfectly with my MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) which is Consumer Cellular, absolutely ZERO issues. If yours won't work with it, consider changing providers, because there's NOTHING wrong with the phone.
