This is an educated guess. Hopefully, someone with deeper knowledge will clarify and correct if necessary. Since the phone DOES NOT support band 71 (I am assuming you are referring to 5G band n71), then it WILL "be handicapped from using the 5G band 71 on T-Mobile". In other words. the phone will not be able to use band n71 (since the phone simply does not support it.) By the way, I am trying to decide to either buy a cheaper A53 that does not support n71 or to go ahead and spend an extra $150 on a T-Mobile phone that supports n71. Is that extra performance worth an extra $150?
