Update to my original answer: I finally got a straight answer from Samsung. No, the U.S. unlocked version of the Galaxy A53 does not support band 71. As I said above, the T-Mobile version supports band 71.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this phone and have used it for a week . This phone does support band 71 for LTE and band N71 for 5G. I know the spec sheet from Samsung and Samsung support does not show it. I contacted T-Mobile directly about this phone and they told me the unlocked version supports all of their LTE/5G bands except for mmwave 5G bands N260/N261.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This phone supports all LTE and 5G bands including band 71/N71 except for mmwave band N260/N261.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the US unlocked version - IT DOES NOT SUPPORT LTE band 71 NOR 5G band 71. Here are the supported LTE & 5G bands of this phone: *LTE: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 14, 20, 29, 30, 38, 39, 40, 41, 46, 48, 66. *5G: 2, 5, 41, 66, 77, 78 These are 100% correct. This phone will work on any US carrier though it will not have every band from every carrier.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The official spec sheet for the U.S. unlocked version doesn't show band 71. I tried to ask Samsung support this question repeatedly in a chat and just kept getting vague non-answers, so I would guess it doesn't. The T-Mobile version definitely supports band 71.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Samsung "technical support" just told me that this phone supports band n78 and "if the device supports the n78 it means that it also supports n71 also". I find this hard to believe and have not been able to verify it.
