It only has 1 SSD slot, the 15.6" version at least. I just got done upgrading the 512 GB SSD to a 2 TB SSD and it's an even better laptop now! I'd assume the 13" has the same amount of slots. The Ion must have a different motherboard. The Ion only has 1 of 2 RAM slots soldered in as well so you can stick in another RAM stick if you want to.

By Ryan 7 months ago Ryan, how did you upgrade it to a 2 TB SSD when the only one offered and compatible above a 512 SSD for this laptop is a 1 TB SSD. I've researched this as well as verifying with Samsung, and the largest is a 1 TB SSD not a 2 TB SSD. If you have upgraded to a 2 TB SSD please provide the information for the SSD that you accomplished your upgrade. Otherwise I find you answer to potential purchasers of the Samsung Galaxy Flex 15.6 misleading and inaccurate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's only tested to 1 TB. Due to the 17.000,000 people who have put in more, it can support more. Samsung has not tested therefore does not say it works.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Per Samsung Care on the Galaxy Book Flex 15.6... It supports M.2 Type NVMe SSD (TLC) (NVMe 256GB/512GB/1TB). This is contrary to what Ryan posted claiming he installed 2GB (and many marked most helpful)
