12 hours (advertised; varies according to use such as screen brightness, wifi usage / web browsing, playing videos, playing video games, the more system-intensive the activity the more it drains battery life, so you may get 12 or possibly more if you are just word processing on lowest brightness settings with wifi off, or you may get just 6 with brightness all the way up and wifi on to surf the net and/or stream videos or playing video games online)
