Yes the Steam Beta for chromeOS. but it will be limited by the 8gb ram, the 256gb ssd, i3 cpu and the intel GPU. Steam cannot access the micro sdcard due the chromeOS. Steam in linux needs ext4 format and ChromeOS does not use that format in the sdcards. Therefore games can only be installed in the internal storage. For example Fallout 3 and New Vegas play well. but fallout 4 does not due it needs 16gb in ram and the game is like 90gbs. Other example SaintRow 3 and 4 play well, but the remaster version does not. the same with dead space. It will be able to play old games from 2005 to 2012, xbox 360 or playstation 3. generation. new games will not be able to play them.
