A:AnswerReplacing the batteries in any of Samsung's recent flagship devices is exceedingly difficult. It is possible, but just not easy. Watch any of the videos on YouTube on replacing the battery on a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+. The operation will be exactly the same, with a few exceptions (S Pen and such).
A:AnswerPlus, just FYI, I have now gone to UK sights. The front of the phones all have the black along the top and bottom, so other than the black and a small edge, color makes no difference if using a case other than clear. I was hoping for the gold along the top and bottom like my Note 5.
A:AnswerThe battery can be replaced by a third party source or even by Samsung. The waterproof feature might be compromised with third party replacement.
A:AnswerI do too. I had the Corel Blue Note 7 (twice, both recalled). Unfortunately for those of us in North America, the deep sea blue and Maple Gold won't be for us, at least not during launch. Maybe a bit down the line all 4, plus newly added colors, will be made available to us in North America...
A:AnswerAs far as I know,
AT&T & t-mobile works with GSM technology whereas, Verizon & Sprint with CDMA.
So I doubt both works on same phoe.
Usually mobile phones are built on either one technology.
So you have to confirm it before you buy.
Also, from the question and answers I went through, I am not sure all the Note8 phones are dual sim.
I have used dual sim phones with sim cards of different carriers, but both were GSM sim cards since the device supports only GSM.
If this phone supports both technology at same time, then you can definitely use both carriers same time...
A:AnswerYes the unlocked phone should receive software updates from Samsung. I have an older Galaxy Note phone that is unlocked and has received updates from Samsung. The phone carriers usually customize their software updates slightly and probably pushed out faster than Samsung.
A:AnswerI'm pretty sure it is. Straight Talk is my provider myself. I believe any phone that is compatible with verizon and at&t is compatible with straight talk too. My old phone was a samsung galaxy and it worked. That is, if this note 8 has a slot for mini SIM card. I am checking on note 8 also. Planning on getting a new phone. Hope this is nothing like note 5.
A:AnswerYes you can change the phone language to Arabic, it will display all the menu options in Arabic, and you can use Arabic keyboard. However the Arabic language is not under the "recommended language" under "language settings". So I don't know if it will be 100% accurate or not.
