A: Trust me,,buy UNLOCKED. I have owned carrier specific, carrier unlocked and Samsung Unlocked. If it had a carrier name on it, then it has Bloatware. Whether it's games or other apps, They want to put on there, you can't remove them. Thy will always update and use up space, i took a Samsung unlocked phone to ATT when i had the,. The rep had to get it on their service. He was surprised at how much faster it was then their version of the same phone.
Q: Do I get a wireless charger and memory card for free?
A: I actually called Samsung and asked them I bought an unlocked from Best Buy and if they will get me the freebies. They said Yes and that once I get the phone and go to Samsung App, I will have to fill up the form and submit to get them.
A: Both my wife and I purchase unlocked Note 8 phones from Best Buy. Activate your phone from your carrier of choice. To claim your free items you must download the shopsamsung app first. Create your account if you do not have one. Log into the app and select promotions. This will bring up a screen to fill out with all the information required. I attached my receipt where asked for. My wife did not. Both of us were confirmed with our promotions. Email confirmation was received. You can check your status at any time with the app and promotions. We were told 6 to 7 weeks. A: I called Samsung & gave them the model number that Best Buy has listed for the dual Sim unlocked version SM-N950UZKAXAA. The Samsung Customer Service Rep said that it was not dual Sim. That there aren't any dual Sim Note 8 being sold in the USA
Q: Does the phone come with a charger and headphones?
A: All phones come with a charger...And yes it comes with a pair of corded Head phones. They are decent corded headphones too, They are AKG headphones. AKG was a parent company of Harmon Kardon (Samsung bought Harmon Kardon/JBL last year) so they are very good for free. I believe the value of them if you bought the headphones separate would be $99.99. I work for Verizon that's how I know what comes with the Note 8 so my answer is 100% accurate. I've seen what comes in the box.
Q: will this work on verizon ?
A: Yes as long as you pay your bill.
Q: if I buy an unlocked phone , will it be compatible with Verizon ?
A: Yes Unlocked Means it can be used with any carrier, providing the carrier in question supports Samsung phones and the galaxy note 8 model phone in particular.
A: Most new phones only have one antenna module shared between CDMA & LTE radios, and since Verizon uses CDMA for calling, you probably won't be able to use LTE data while calling OUT OF THE BOX. If you enable "Advanced Calling" (which VZW brands as "HD Voice") in the phone's settings, calls will be routed over LTE (not impacting your data usage), and you'll be able to access data while on a phone call.
