I've used all kinds of phones from the iPhone 5s, Galaxy s3, Galaxy s6, Galaxy s7 edge, and Huawei Honor 8, and I have to say that this phone is the best phone I've ever used. Everything from the 6.3" display to the s-pen it's a quality product whose everyday usage is almost flawless. Iris scanning is fast when it works which is 95% of the time. Fingerprint scanner is as fast as the s7's. The zoom lens is nifty if youre the type that comes into contact with objects that are just a bit too far at times. The phone is also just good to look at, but at $929, the cheapest price for unlocked models, it better be. That's a steep price to pay and honestly it should be worth closer to $829.

This is my first Samsung device from the Note line and I've been blown away! It has been my daily driver for the past 3 months for work and play and it's the first Samsung phone I've been truly happy with. Battery life is phenomenal when not in a signal-starved area and the camera responsiveness is incredible.

So apprehensive with getting a new phone but I didnt want to rent one from sprint. Amazon had the same phone for roughly the same price, but Best Buy did something that I thought only Sprint could do... install a sim card, transfer everything from my old phone to the new phone, and activated my new phone to my old sprint plan without having to pay fees. Oh yes, the next time I need a new phone, I am coming to Best Buy cause they handled that without ANY issues, problems, or extra fees. You guys ROCK!

I have just received my unlocked version today, and the reason I would not recommend this to a friend because Best Buy official website said this is a Dual Sim phone, in fact Samsung USA never sell any dual sim product within the US market, and you will only get one IMEI for the phone. Tech Support of Best Buy will say that you should try to install the SIM into microSD slot, do not try that it will not work. The specification on the website is wrong, but other than that, it is a good price, and unlocked for all carrier :)

I have been desiring to own a galaxy phone. I came to feel in love with Galaxy note 8 and I couldn't have bought it any other place than BestBuy because I have been buying all my electronics stuff from the best buy for a long time. The phone is serving me good. Thank you.

The first phone I ever fell in love with was a Nokia 1520, Microsoft's phablet. After using an old nexus phone for the last couple years I am SO glad I upgraded. I LOVE the size of the screen and the look and feel of the phone. Everything runs super fast, battery lasts all day, and the cameras are great. Telescopic lens on the camera is a great touch and the S pen is great for jotting down notes in a hurry.

I consider myself multi brand versed. I own many apple products and use their iPad Pro in my office on a daily basis. When it comes to phones, the Galaxy line is always 3 to 5 steps ahead of Apple. The new Galaxy note 8 crushes all its competition this year with such a margine that price is irrelevant. Hoping the iPhone 10 would be a close match but it's still playing catch up to Samsung. Now that Apple is sourcing the new iPhone 10's AMOLED display directly from Samsung from the last generation AMOLED display, it gives the market a clear view of who is leading and who is following. Factor in the Note 8's longer battery life, higher resolution display, significantly brighter display, deeper water resistant rating, S-pen, home button, finger print scanner, bigger screen, no rear camera bump, micro SD upgradable memory, 6gb of ram, etc....the Note 8 really doesn't have any competition this year for the best smart phone for 2018. Too bad Samsung abandons the tablet market and doesn't go after the iPad with the ferociousness it does in the smart phone segment........ Long story short "Buy the Note 8". The Galaxy Note 8 is a monster. It's not only the best, but a bargain for what you get.

There is a lot to write about this phone but it would be too much so I will give you what I like and some dis-likes. 1. I love the screen. Massive, great for watching Netflix, Hulu or just videos you have on the phone. And I watch a lot of tv shows and movies on this thing. 2. The s-pen is great for writing down quick notes. You can do so much more with it but I'm just putting what I use it for. 3. Extra storage space. I know you have to buy a card but it's nice to have that option. 4. Battery life is very good. I watch a lot of shows and play games and I usually still have battery at the end of the day. 5. Camera is good, good on low light and the big screen helps for taking pics. There are more things I like but these are my top. I only have one dis-like, I wish I could have a removal battery but wasn't a deal breaker for me. Overall I really like this phone this is my 3rd generation note and by far the best.

Out of the phones I've owned, this is by far the best. The camera is great for when i go on hikes. The phone is a tank and has not damaged at all. I did recently get a scratch on the screen by dropping an electric shaver blade first on the screen, but it was very small scratch. The pen is very handy for work during meetings and drawing diagrams and such (i'm an engineer). I think the price is high, but the device can justify and it seems that's the trend now with new devices.

I like the Note 8. Larger and heavier than I would have preferred, but the long battery life (seriously long), and great camera were perks I wanted. Still adjusting to having a stylus, and forget sometimes to try to use it more often. Def like the note writing options, and smooth response. It looks clean, and like I wrote with a pen right on my screen. Makes for some fun .gif features too. Cool phone. Most I've ever spent on a phone though. Price is the biggest downside.

Where to start? The samsung note 8 is a fabulous phone. It feels smooth in the hand, easy to hold and has so many features. The new pen is great, with a variety of sensitivity. I like the on screen writing when the phone is off. Great resolution and the camera takes fabulous pictures! Great phone even though it is quite expensive.

OMG - What a phone. The picture is fantastic. I am going from a S7 edge and this phone is great. Plus bixby saves alot of typing. Hit side button tell bixby what you want and you get it. Yes its pricey but you get on promotion a 128 card and cordless charger or 4 k camera. I paid around 800 for edge. I got mine thru ATT. It is thin and waterproof and has duel camera on back for crystal clear pictures and too many formats to mention. This is not an everyday phone for non enthusiast. But if you want all the buttons and whistles with a very clear screen - this is for you. the pen is smooth as pie and you can write quick notes on your screen And for someone like me who is tired of typing everything - works for me. Field any question my way i will do best to answer. to rate the phone on price is unfair.Plus the battery consumption is nil compared to my samsung galaxy edge 7.

After using for over a month now. I would say this is a beast of a phone. I have owned every single Note series phone except the Note 7 because you know ;). Note 8 is past all that and proves its worth. Handles multi tasks very well. With S-Pen it is a perfect phone for my day to day business activities. The camera is outstanding with its dual lens feature. That Bixby button always gets in the way when turning down the volume but its not a killer. I am not really a fan of all these personal assistants out there on phones (too much dependence on tech). Overall its a great phone.

This device is a beast. This unlocked device can be used on any american carrier. the internals for att/tmo/verizon/sprint models are all exactly the same. In fact, you can flash to your desired carrier (if you want to get all features available to your carrier - ie wifi calling, ota updates etc). this is obviously for more advanced users. but hey, most likely if you're buying an unlocked version, you are an advanced user right? anyways, im not really into photography, but this is at the very least on par with the iphone x if not better. still a better screen than the iphone x and way faster than the iphone x (not only on the interface, but the lte speeds are faster on this than the iphone). samsung pay is better than android pay and apple pay because they work on non nfc terminals. simply put, if the terminal has a magnetic card reader, you can use samsung pay. dont even hesitate, get this now if you want the best!

This is my first android phone. Have always been a fan of apple products. Now, I have been using it for 2 months, and it has been great. The s-pen is very precise. I love the off screen memo feature. It's very helpful in making notes, grocery lists & I even use it as a reminder. The camera is everything I hoped for. Now, I can have a professional shot using only my phone. The colors are vibrant, the shots are great (not to mention the bokeh feature). Overall, this phone is great. I'm loving every inch of it.

Really it is ... is the best smartphone on the market. Fast, super excellent screen. Coming from Samsung have to be the best screen. Good for use outside when is very sunny. The S-Pen have more improvements, very accurate and responsive. The battery last the whole day, probably sometimes you going to need to charge during the day but that's not a problem with the fast charger. Try also the wireless charger, it's amazing, fast and convenient. Is going to replace the lack of new C-USB cables. Because no cables need it and wireless chargers works with old charger cables. My last advice ... wait until goes on special because the price is too high.
