A:AnswerBestBuy will offer an extra amount toward the Note 9 if you trade in Select devices. That can only be seen at a BestBuy Store unfortunately. For example. I am Trading in my Note 8 for the Note 9 as you are. Bestbuy website is offering $340 for Note 8 trade in. But since I Pre-ordered the Note 9 in BestBuy not only will I get my trade in value of $340 but BestBuy will give an extra $110 pre-order offer so a total of $450 that can only be seen in store. Your total price for the phone will be $550
A:Answeras far as i know that is only thru ordering from Samsung directly. This is NOT recommended as you have to send your phone to Samsung to have it appraised, and if you dont get as much as you would like for it, theres no way to cancel it.
A:AnswerFirst and foremost please be patient, your question will be answered accordingly. BestBuy will offer an extra amount toward the Note 9 if you trade in Select devices. That can ONLY be seen at a BestBuy Store unfortunately. You do not mail your phone to them. You have to physically hand in your phone to a mobile representative and they will determine the state of which your phone will be worth for the trade in. They will potentially give you more than the $250 for your phone if you pre-order. As stated you will have to go in the physical store or call to know exactly how much you will get
A:AnswerIf you're buying it unlocked then no it doesn't qualify for the Verizon offer. You have to buy through Verizon for the offer. And yes it will work for Verizon.
A:AnswerI would advise checking with Boost Mobile first.
I purchased an unlocked Note 8 last year not realizing I would not have access to certain carrier features because it was an unlocked phone. I did not have visual voice mail, text messages were limited, I could not send or receive pictures via text message, and much more.
Boost Mobile tech support was either unwilling or unable to help resolve the situation, so I ended up returning the phone. I was told by Best Buy CS that not all carrier features work with unlocked phones because some carriers want you to purchase their branded phones.
I hope you have better luck than I did if you purchase the unlocked model to use with Boost Mobile.
A:Answerit depends on the trade in offer. BestBuy will offer an extra amount toward the Note 9 if you trade in Select devices. That can only be seen at a BestBuy Store unfortunately. For example. I am Trading in my Note 8 for the Note 9. bestbuy website is offering $340 for Note 8 trade in. But since I Pre-ordered the Note 9 in BestBuy not only will I get my trade in value of $340 but BestBuy will give an extra $110 pre-order offer. Since you are trading in the Iphone X it will be the same as the Note 8 promotional price. So expect to pay $550 out of pocket for the Note 9
A:AnswerWhat are the two answers from employees?
I think you pay the full price and you send the old device to Samsung within 15 days. If it meets the device eligibility requirements, Samsung will send you a refund for the amount of trade-in value.
if not, they will value it as only $25. That's all you gonna get and you are not allowed to cancel and get the device back because it's no longer yours.
the link below for their device eligibility requirements:
https://www.samsung.com/us/trade-in/terms-and-conditions/
I wanted to upgrade to S9 Note because I got some scratches on the backside of my S8. A sales rep told me as long as it's not cracked, the trade-in value is $450. But, that's not what it says on Samsung's website. Multiple scratches are one of the conditions that fail to meet device eligibility.
Don't just listen to those sales rep at Best Buys. Make sure that your old device meets the eligibility requirements or else you will only get 25 bucks for it.
A:AnswerTo 'Droid Boy': The Note9 has only been on the market since August and there have been no reports of problems with the battery or charging port. To the original poster you might just need a new battery. I also have a note 3 but I am replacing it with a Note 9.
