I used to have AT&T S7 Edge and wifi calling worked great. I have switched to Unlocked S8 but AT&T has not pushed Wifi calling feature to unlocked phone and I don't believe wifi calling will be available to unlocked phones. I have to guess that may be the same case for T-Mobile as Wifi calling is network specific and these companies want to control that for their branded phones.
