“I have had Virgin Mobile for 18 years. Cannot beat $45 a month for unlimited everything. I have to get a new phone and want a Samsung S9, but would like to pay it off monthly. Do I need to change to a different carrier to get this? Is Sprint reasonable?”

Sprint is a little bit more expensive. I think I pay 60 for unlimited everything. I'm not sure if it has changed. But as far as renting a phone, the S9 is 33 or 35 dollars, and the S9+ is 38. They also have Galaxy Forever, so you can get a galaxy upgrade every 12 months. Currently, for new accounts, you can get the S9 for 9 bucks a month. Not sure how long that promo lasts.
