I own and use the S9+ Unlocked bought from Best Buy. It supports wifi-calling, lte, and hotspot on tmobile sim card. So the answers to all your queries are yes, yes and yes. Just remember to buy a shock resistant case with it immediately. I use an Incipio Dualpro for S9+ with mine but the choice is yours. Choices from makers like Incipio, Speck, Tech21, Otterbox, Modal, etc.

This device works on all carriers expect for sprint I do believe. I use it on Verizon, but the device will support cdma and gsm. I was a little scared at first, didn't think Verizon would work and receive lte signal, but it did !
