“If I buy an unlocked Galaxy s9+ will I be able to use wifi capabilities in europe. I have heard that unlocked phones in US will not have wifi capabilities (if not purchased from your own US carrier) in France. Is this the case?”

I want to take this phone and use it in Europe. As far as I know it should work the same as in US
