A:AnswerThere are differences in the US models and those of other regions, but that mainly has to do with the exact transmission bands that they are designed to work with. The US-unlocked models will best work with the bands that are common to our country and are regulated by the FCC, but in Europe, there are different ones that are allocated for cell phone use. There is a lot of cross-over, but you would want to contact the service provider you expect to use to be sure about how much coverage you can expect.
I hope this clears up the situation for you, and you can buy the device that will best suit your needs.
A:AnswerThe Samsung Galaxy S9 has a nano sim card slot, and the Galaxy S5 (which is what I used to have! XD) uses a micro sim card.
I personally have Cricket and my sim card had a punchout for a nano sim; however I don't know if StraightTalk does anything like that.
To answer the other question, my box came with everything it was supposed to, except the sim card ejection tool!
I ended up having to take it to Cricket anyway, thankfully there wasn't a fee to do the swap. Again however I can't speak for how StraightTalk will handle the situation.
The Best Buy lady who sold me the phone, told me sometimes all of the accessories aren't returned with the phone; so results may vary. She at least allowed me to check everything before purchase; however I still managed to forget about the sim tool.
A:AnswerHello! We appreciate your interest in our products. The purpose of an unlocked device is to provide you the freedom to use what service works best for you around the world. However, it is always a good idea to confirm with the carrier in your country you intend to use the device in that there will be no complications. We hope this answer your question and helps you with your purchase decision! ^Rod
