Are the specs for this still good for todays apps? Never owned a tablet before so this is all new to me. I plan on using it for the free app games, music, youtube, imgur, stuff like that.

The outdated 4.4 operating system won't allow some apps to be comparable. It ruined my experience as I couldn't download my favorite 2 apps.

It runs everything I've thrown at it really well. As long as the app can run on Android 4.4.2 it's golden!

Yes, very easy to use. Color and graphics are excellent. I am a Samsung fan. My phone is a Note 2. I also have a disability in one eye. This tablet is excellent. You will love to watch movies, YouTube, and e-reader. Great price and size.
