I too had a hard time figuring out the models. Tab 4, Tab E, Tab A. I have a smaller Tab 4 from a few years ago and for 2016 christmas purchased the Tab A 10". Without doing a tech spec side by side comparison of processors, speed, and internal memory, I don't know the difference, but to me they act and perform the same to me.
