“Because this tablet doesn’t have a lot of gigs, are you able to insert a SD card and store both apps and games on the SD card versus on the tablet? If so, is there a max as to the size of SD card this will hold? Sorry, I’m not very smart with technology.”

Yes, you can add an SD card but you will mostly be able to add photos and videos, lots of apps cannot be moved to the SD so you will run out of space.
