“what is the battery life How long will it run on a single charge? Will it last 8 hours for a " all day use " ? We will be traveling on a long driving trip = 10 total hours on the road and need to have at least a 8 hour charge. we need to drive a long way with very few stops The Map quest mode- app will need to be on for our trip . I do not have a way to charge it as we drive . looking into a portable battery note { was hoping 10 hours but will take 8 . I just hope it is not less then 8 thanks”

Yes. This tablet will last 8 hours. You can buy a portable charger just in case to plug into it. With the GPS running it may drain the battery faster than usual. I would recommend using a battery pack to charge it if you do not have a car charger.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I charge it over night. With heavy daily use, you may need a mobil charger, there is nothing special about that. A mobil USB charger will do. I've used this on trips. I would recommend a cover and stand combination. Just makes things so simpler. Protects the Tablet. I also have an Iphone, through work, with a Mophy Battry set up on it. This tablet charges on the same USB setup. You will have to have traveling WIFI, if your going to use Maps while traveling. When I shut down my tablet & keyboard it pauses the tablet. I had it fully charged yesterday. Did not charge last night & now this morning I'm typing this to you & I have 40% power left. It's your judgement call.
