is this tablet suitable for an 8 year old? null

I bought it for a 2 year old and it works just fine for tracing his letters and working on learning apps like abc mouse. As with any tablet you may want to monitor apps such as YouTube and maybe switch it out with YouTube kids if you don't want your 8 year old seeing all the inappropriate things people post.
