Bought one for our granddaughter for Christmas. Yes you can add a SD card and move data to it. You can also install SOME but NOT all apps to it. Most apps that we have installed (Disney was one, can't remember all of them) MUST be installed in main memory. Its been awhile but of all the apps we insalled only 2 or 3 were able to run form the SD card. There was no option to install or move move those apps to the SD card.
