Read the Geek Squad terms carefully. It usually runs with the warranty and covers thing that the warranty doesn't. That said be advised that if you use the warranty you likely then can't use the Geek Squad warranty and often once you use it that is it (one and done). I didn't bother with my lower end tablet as the warranty was enough and I used it enough during the return policy period to make sure there were no issues. You will find a lot of happy people who have the Geek Squad coverage but there are many out there who found it lacking and not covering accidental damage which is usually the main issue for many people. Again the coverage runs with the original warranty and then after it expires if the term is beyond it.
