I watch a ton of movies on mine and the movie is almost always in full screen unless I select otherwise. Don't get the pro. It is a huge waste. You should go to your local best buy and tell them what your needs are and what you've been looking at. They will get you into something that will fit all of your needs.

You can but it depends on the movie also. Wide screen, full screen or zoom. You just have to maximize the video player like in a computer or turn the tablet sideways.

Yes as a matter of fact I just watched a movie from Netflix on mine tonight and I'm very happy with it for watching TV, movies etc. You don't miss out on anything. Screen is great for that.!

The tablet is sized just right for viewing a full size video. Just rotate the tablet on its side and touch the full screen tab on Netflix or Youtube. Its wonderful to have!

Yes. You will just need to rotate the iPad to "landscape" setting.
