“What app store does this come with on and can I install the directv app on It? Is this a device I could replace my old Windows 7 laptop with? Not techy so wondered if I would still need a laptop. Thanks.”

Android Play Store. Yes you can install the DirecTV App on it. Its possible you could replace a Windows 7 system with this, it just depends on what you do with your Windows based system. Nearly all tablets can do word processing now even with Microsoft Office (Office 365) but to be able to print will require your printer to have wireless printing ability.

Yes this tablet can replace a lap top for email, letter writing, games. Be aware that there is a limited ram and screen size. So the best answer is that it can do most of everything. You can use it for all just don't expect it to be as good as a lap top/
