Everything that you describe can be done on a tablet; however, you may want to invest in a Bluetooth keyboard/ touchpad combo. You will find it MUCH easier to write emails, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought my Galaxy S5e about a month ago, and yes you will be able to do everything a laptop can. I actually bought a new case for my new tablet that has a bluetooth keyboard with it, so if you needed to type it is perfect for it! It's a excellent tablet, I have had 0 problems with it. I am able to print anything I want from my tablet, as well as use a fingerprint for some of my applications. Which the fingerprint scanner is the power button, which I found out much later. Hope this helps! I'm very pleased with my purchase. With the keyboard case is has the functionality of a laptop, but the convenience of a tablet. Perfect for on the go!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would think for the things you listed the tablet would work. My tablet is my "toy" - mostly for games, videos, etc. Although I also use it for online banking and things like that. But I also have a laptop. I'm an avid photographer and I have a spreadsheet with our budget info and things like that. The tablet can't handle that type of thing.
