I use it with an iPhone, so I'd imagine that if you can find the app in your app store, the watch will work to sync activity data and get messages from your phone--you just lose some of the bells and whistles like Samsung Pay (although, to be fair, I haven't tried to respond to messages or answer calls on it--I'd imagine that would not work on non-Galaxy phones either, but you may have better luck on an Android). If you want it for a watch, activity tracker, and fitness cheerleader, it should be fine.
