Typically international companies like Samsung respect their warranty; however, from looking at the following site it seems that the warranty is ideally carried through by bringing it back to the place of purchase. https://www.samsung.com/levant/support/warranty/ I would strongly recommend contacting Samsung through the methods provided in that link and asking further questions. Geek Squad Protection (not the same as the Manufacturer Warranty) is not going to be respected outside the USA and maybe a Canadian Best Buy. Good luck!
