I would recommend is making sure that when you're using the treadmill, you are moving your arms as steps/distance are not counted when there is no hand movement detected while exercising. For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or stroller because your hands are not moving. The watch is intended to calculate real step counts while walking. I talked to a best buy associate and they just shrugged their shoulders said they couldn't help me and complained about the promotion. Google told me to contact samsung, samsung told me to contact best buy. Went in a full circle. The worst part is the promotion is the only reason i bought this watch now im outside of my return window.
