Does it work with a Samsung S 4 ?? S 4?? null

If you have capability of enabling bluetooth devices, and can download the samsung Gear app from google play, or the ios App store, then you have a compatible device.

We have not been able to get the gear fit 2 to work with 4

I am not certain, but believe it will!

I personally know the Gear Fit app works on S5 through S7 not too sure about the S4 if you can download the app The Watch Works

This will work with most Android phones.
