• Count steps- Yes Cellphone ability- No Heart Monitor- Yes Pulse- No Texting - very elementary and limited to predetermine replies- A joke really "Use with a cellphone" it allows you to see some NOT ALL of the apps you use on your phone to get notifications, If Apple made a smart watch for samsung it would be a NO-BRAINER! for me, Samsung is really FAR behind the curve ball on smart watch technology

• Need cell phone to activate and couple app to phone. Counts steps etc without, just blue tooth to sync when you get back in range of phone.

• It sure does it has Bluetooth hence needing the cellphone so make sure to update to track and the app has it all listed on the home screen

• Yes it has all that, and it requires a cell phone only if you want to make and recieve calls and texts. Your phone and watch must be paired via bluetooth.
