• The S2 Classic uses traditional bands and can be swapped out with bands that uses the 20mm standard straps.

• I wanted an expandable band for it. I went to Walmart and bought a $12 band and they installed it for me. I know, a $12 band on a $350 watch. there are all kinds of bands available online.

• Yes you can purchase other bands as this uses a 40mm standard band. Find them anywhere watches or watch bands are sold.

• Yes. Just about any 20mm watch band will work with the classic. Nice feature. Not available on the other 2 version of the S2.

• You can buy any 20mm band for the classic version. The sport can only use the icky rubber ones. Allegedly Sammy is coming out with other runber bands but ive not seen them anywhere. They also said the gear s would get a swarovski band and that never happened. So, ill believe it when i see it.

• The way that the band works is that you have to a specific bands meant for the Gear s2 classic. I have only seen a few out there as of now, but make sure that get the specific bands that are design with a special attachment part.
