Yes, it will work with all models the earlier 2017 Gear VR did in addition to the Note 8

Please try again later.According to the information it should work with all Samsung phones back through note 5 that worked with the original Oculus vr headset.. it just has a larger area to accommodate the note 8's larger profile, but has adjustments for the older phones.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I plan to open the box when I have time this weekend, however, I did read the box to make sure it was the right one. In addition to the Note 8, the box does say that it's compatible with the S8, S8+ and a few others. My understanding is that since the Note 8 is the largest phone on the market, this version of the VR will fit anything smaller. Enjoy!
