Hi Jabo! The HW-A650 includes a digital optical audio cable that can be used to connect the soundbar to your TV. Should you want to utilize the HDMI ARC connection, you will need to purchase an HDMI cable separate.

Yes you will need another HDMI. It makes it so easy to hook up. You can use the optical cable supplied, but I think the best sound comes from the ARC HDMI input. Just find the HDMI labeled ARC and it will be fine. Don’t worry if you have to unplug a device from it, the soundbar has an HDMI input.
