• Hi Jack! Yes, the HW-A650 soundbar is compatible with the RU71000 and can be connected with ether digital optical audio or HDMI ARC. All sound from the TV, including streaming apps, will be passed through to the soundbar. The Samsung TV remote by default can control the soundbar connected through either connection type. Connecting the soundbar to the TV via HDMI ARC will give you the most control with a Roku remote. ^Tim
