Hi Confused! Many of the buttons on your remote feature multiple functions. Pressing in the volume button will mute or unmute the sound while rocking the button up and down will adjust the volume level. ^Tim

Please try again later.The hand control really difficult I found the button controls are very difficult to understand but they do work The one top left button turns unit on and off Look at little window on side of long sound bar at little square LED box and push it on and off note letter in box change as you push it Next the long buttons say volume and Woofer actually push (NOT IN) but use them by pushing up and down on the veridically ...up and down I had a very hard time to learn the operation, but it works well when you get the button operation solved Read The SMALL CHINESE WRITING IN BOOK get a magnification glass GOOD LUCK friend
