Hi! The HW-A650 soundbar will automatically power off after 18 minutes if no audio is being sent to the soundbar. If the soundbar is powering off while audio is playing, please contact Samsung Support so that we can better assist with this concern: 1-800-SAMSUNG / Available 8AM -12AM EST M-F (9AM – 6PM EST Sat). ^Tim
