Hi EricK! HDMI ARC is a simple, one cable connection from the soundbar to the TV, allowing the TV to send audio to the soundbar via HDMI. If the TV does not support HDMI ARC, you can utilize the HDMI pass-through on the soundbar, connect to the TV via digital optical audio, or utilize the built in Bluetooth audio for a wireless connection to Bluetooth compatible TVs. ^Tim
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ARC is not something in the cable, but rather a protocol in the devices. You can use the device like any other, ARC only helps with using one remote. It will send volume/power/etc controls to the device. Most TV's have ARC, the manufacture may call it something else though, and only one HDMI port will support it on the TV.
