“I have a Samsung Model UN60KU6300F w/one Optical Out connection and one HDMI IN(ARC) connector. Is this the HDMI I would use for this soundbar? I have the Optical Out connected to a splitter-then to headsets and a receiver. Can I use soundbar and headset?”

This is not correct! If you use an optical cable and HDMI ARC, you can use a Bluetooth transmitter connected to the optical at the same time that you are connected to HDMI ARC. After initial setup, just don't change audio output from soundbar from HDMI to optical. Leave it alone! I have this setup. Remember to manually change the Dolby Digital output in audio settings to PCM leave Bitstream setting active, and you're good to go.

For the best experience, we recommend connecting the soundbar to a TVs HDMI ARC port. Samsung TVs are only designed to output via one audio source at a time and cannot play both HDMI ARC and digital optical audio sources at the same time. ^Tim
