Hi Garrett! The HW-S801B subwoofer is wireless to the soundbar but will still need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Placing the subwoofer in a cabinet can restrict airflow that would cause it to lose the ability to generate the high-quality sound the sub is supposed to make, and in many cases cause rattling noises which will affect your listening experience and enjoyment. ~Samsung Solutions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The power source is a detachable power cord that could possibly be concealed depending on you do so. An inexpensive wire channel along a baseboard may work just fine unless you opt for a more involved in wall installation. The sub is wireless and small enough to be concealed behind a piece of furniture but I wouldn’t recommend placing in a cabinet as you may lose the value of the multi-directional bass. That said, no harm in trying in a cabinet and see what the effects would be
