QuestionWhen I'm watching TV the volume on the sound bar goes up to 20 after appx. 30 seconds. What can cause this? I'm using the HDMI-Arc port for my connection. But no problems while listening to music via Bluetooth from my phone

- Answer I had a similar problem. Best Buy sold me an out-of-the-box sound bar which always went to 25 after about 2 minutes. If my initial volume was lower, it would go up to 25. If the initial volume was higher, it would go down to 25. I called Samsung tech support and they were very helpful. They led me through various diagnostics and decided I would have to send it to their repair center. I had to pay to ship it to the repair center. They wanted everything including the subwoofer so it cost me about $75. Samsung replaced the PCB board and sent everything back and it all works perfectlly! Even though I bought the sound bar 2 weeks earlier, Samsung initially said the unit was purchased over a year ago and was out of warranty. I had to send them a receipt and they covered everything under warranty. Best Buy sold me a broken sound bar and they also sold me the wrong HDMI arc cable. Samsung told me to buy a 2.1 version which I did. I was very impressed with Samsung!

QuestionI have sound bar HW-S800B and it has some special small adapter to hdmi that comes with sound bar,and it's the only way to connect. Does anyone know what cable It is, I need one since the thin one it came with, went bad being used behind a tv. Thank you

- Answer HDMI micro. I bought mine off eBay for 10 bucks. There are adapters also but your better off purchasing a regular cable due to the back of the sound bars design.

- Answer If you are asking if you could purchase a subwoofer in addition to the one already provided I did not see anything in the settings that would allow for pairing an additional speaker. If you are buying this for the frame tv you will be happy with it.

QuestionMy sound bar didn't come with an HDMI cable, I see in some post it says buy a HDMI to mini HDMI and some say buy an HDMI to Micro HDMI cable. Does anyone know for sure?? I appreciate the help.

QuestionWhat is the power source for the subwoofer? I would like to conceal it if possible. And will placing the sub inside a cabinet have a big impact on the sound experience?

- Answer Hi Garrett! The HW-S801B subwoofer is wireless to the soundbar but will still need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Placing the subwoofer in a cabinet can restrict airflow that would cause it to lose the ability to generate the high-quality sound the sub is supposed to make, and in many cases cause rattling noises which will affect your listening experience and enjoyment. ~Samsung Solutions

- Answer There is an HDMI to Micro HDMI cable included. You can also purchase 1 on amazon if you need a replacement (Silkland 8K 4K Micro HDMI to HDMI Cable 6.6ft).

- Answer You could potentially using a universal soundbar mount designed to attach the soundbar to the tv and not the wall. Sanus and a few other brands make these types of mounts.

QuestionI just bought a 42" LG Evo and it sits too low on the table to slide a normal soundbar under it but this at 1.5" will work. is it too long to perform well with a 42" screen?

- Answer Hi Karina, The HW-S800B Soundbar is a great option because it is very slim but still produces a quality sound. Make sure that you are not blocking the top-firing Dolby Atmos speakers of the Soundbar with your TV. If possible having it out from completely under your TV will offer you the best sound available. ~Samsung Solutions

- Answer I believe you are correct. I started with wireless but occasionally experienced some dropout. Then went to HDMI and sounds fine. Subwoofer is always wireless.

- Answer No, you cannot. Because the soundbar has no return HDMI out. Only way via HDMI is from TV HDMI to soundbar. Also could use Optical or wireless Bluetooth.
