As long as it has a Bluetooth feature on the iPhone 6s these work well for your boyfriend's cell phones

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I'm using it with an iphone 5s and an Apple watch. I really do recommend these if your bf likes bass. I'd say the Bose has better clarity, but the Sony is not bad at all. Plus the blows the Bose out of the water in terms of bass, and $$.
