• Afaik the USB-C only supports 4K @30Hz on both the Gen7 and Gen8 versions of the Notebook Pro. I have a Gen7 model so don't accept this as a definitive answer for the newer Gen8 machines without further research. Having said that the only hardware difference between the two models are the Gen7 and Gen8 CPU's, so support for 4K 60Hz over USB-C seems very unlikely imho.
