• You can swap out the out of the box sata ssd with an nvme. • Battery in 13 and 15 is the same. THe stock drive is a SATA3 SSD, but you can swap it with a NVME drive.

• It's an M.2 for sure! As for the rest, maybe these pictures will help you figure it out? I am not certain yet which drives will play nicely with this model yet. The recovery software built in by Samsung should make it fairly painless to upgrade provided you have another external HDD/SSD that you can temporarily use to store the image on. (Pictures taken were of my model NP940X5M-X01US which is the 15" 2017 model.)

• Idk about the battery, but for 15 inch, its 56whr battery. It uses SATA not NVME. The SSD is a M.2 drive.

• Having purchased this product and opened it up it has a PCIe SSD drive in it, meaning you can opt to upgrade it to a NVmE M.2 drive.
