The Spin does not have an active digitizer like the Surface Pro and Spectre x360. That means it can only use the same type of stylus that you can use on an ipad/iphone, etc. No palm rejection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Samsung ATVI spin does not come with a stylus for taking notes and drawing. I had a surface pro 4 that does come with a rudimentary stylus but I returned it because the Surface pro 4 and surface book are both very buggy (search them online and you will see that you need to reinstall at least one driver every couple of days mouse, printer, etc) and I had to reinstall the drivers daily and the entire system software at least once a week. The Surface pro 4 screen stand is also a somewhat sharp piece of flimsy metal that causes scratches to both furniture and skin (legs in shorts and hands and arms while maneuvering it). The Samsung is considerably less costly and more powerful than the surface pro 4 so if you need to do note taking and drawing, I would purchase an aftermarket stylus rather than use the el cheapo stylus that comes with the surface pro. Also the surface pro does not have a slot to store the stylus and instead uses a magnet to hold it which is not very secure.

The surface Pro 4 and the included stylus is way better this laptop. The Samsung Ativ Book 9 Spin's touch-screen is designed to allow more fluid interactions while browsing the web, dragging and dropping stuff, using SideSync etc and is not really suited for a person who wishes to use the Touchscreen as a medium for creativity like drawing and certain productivity tasks like taking notes.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Palm rejection yes... but none of the others you mention. You can use a standard capacitive stylus with this, but you would need to consider the surface, the HP Spectre 360 or the Samsung Note Pro tablet in order to get a true "sketching" stylus. I personally use the Note 10.1 for taking notes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Samsung is the way to go. I was considering both and purchased the Samsung faster processor about same size and weight. Also for surface you have to buy all the accessories. The only reason I would get the surface is if your job requires you to travel.
