“The 800c is wireless so I don't need hdmi cable from tv to soundbar. However I have satellite box so will I need to use hdmi from sat box to tv and another hdmit from tv to soundbar?”

Hi Jimm, You will be able to use Wi-Fi to your TV with the HW-Q800C Soundbar if your TV is capable of this feature. You also have the ability to connect using Bluetooth from Soundbar to TV. Your Satellite box will be connected to the TV directly using HDMI. You will then make sure that the Soundbar's SOURCE is changed to Wi-Fi. We do recommend using HDMI as this will offer the best user and audio experience, especially depending on how strong your Wi-Fi signal is in your home. ~Samsung Solutions
