The main soundbar has two upward-firing speakers at each end. Make sure there is no obstruction for the sound to travel up to the ceiling and reflect back. IMO mounting the bar on the wall may not be the right thing. Placing it on the credenza perhaps is the best option for you; again make sure the upward-firing speakers have a clear path. I personally use a Wali Universal Sound Bar Mount Bracket for the sound bar, that compliments the TV stand, because my TV is mounted on a movable stand.

The height of the TV should be positioned for best viewing experience with the forward sound placement coinciding with that. It’s important to also make sure the top firing “Dolby Atmos” speakers have a flat surface and unobstructed “view” of the ceiling to effectively bounce those audio channels into a convincing effect. If it’s easier to mount onto your stand/credenza then give it a shot. The advantage of moving the soundbar up slightly higher may be negligible.

If you aren't sure which you would like better, place the Soundbar on your credenza first, to see if you like the way it sounds. Make sure that you do not obstruct the top of the Soundbar as this it does have top-firing Dolby Atmos speakers. ~Samsung Solutions
