• Yes. this player can be programmed to be region free though it takes quite a bit of patience and strict direction following. There is a website where other users have posted directions to do this. A simple search on google "samsung dvd-c350 multi region codes" should display several sites with those codes. It took me about 30 minutes and a lot of frustration but now mine will play any region disc.

• If you purchase the unit within the US, it will only have support for All Region and Region 1 DVDs ("All Region" DVDs refers to DVDs that are marked as region 0 or "Region All". This does not mean the player can play every regions’ DVDs). -MrSamsung
