Agree that the price point may be a bit higher but the components and flexibility also seem to be a step up from the SimplySafe line. The ADT package seems most similar to the Economy SimplySafe package which is about $260. I think the touchscreen and having the ability to use any Smartthings component with the app seems like it may be worth another $140...which is what I paid on sale ($399.99)...though I realize you are limited to the ADT/Smartthings components if you want to control via the touchscreen and ADT monitor the system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is not an ADT system, it is SmartThings monitored through ADT. No subsidized, no contract. Simplisafe is cheaper of course and looks like it. This includes a SmartThings hub build in to perform automations as well.
